Your Faithful Support Continues the Work

We hope you and your loved ones are staying well during this especially challenging time for all. The WMU Foundation team is praying for comfort, peace, and strength for each of you as we navigate these uncertain times. May our eyes be set on Jesus and may He be glorified.

As we each navigate our individual new normal, we wanted to sincerely thank our donors for your faithful support. The WMU Foundation would not exist today if it wasn’t for each of you.

Thank you for allowing us to continue to give to those who need it most, like organizations in Nashville who are rebuilding after the March 2, 2020, tornado. Because of your partnership, we were able to grant $5,000 to Begin Anew of Middle Tennessee (a CWJC site and WorldCrafts artisan group) and $5,000 to the Nashville Baptist Association to aid in relief efforts through the WMU HEART Fund.

Thank you for enabling us to work remotely. We have the technology we need to stay home and practice social distancing as much as possible because of your gifts to the WMU Foundation. We are also very thankful that each WMU Foundation employee continues to work their normally scheduled hours, which provides continuity in helping to provide for our families. This could not be possible without you.

You may not feel like your gifts are doing much, but every single gift we receive makes a difference. Every gift has led us to this moment in a time full of uncertainty and fear. Instead of focusing on the unknown, we are choosing joy. We are choosing to celebrate the many ways our donors are impacting lives and changing the world for the better.

In a season of uncertainty, it can be far too easy to focus on the negatives, but let’s choose to focus on Jesus. Let’s focus on the good things to come out of this, such as showing love to our neighbors and slowing down and having more time to spend with our kids. Of course there are challenges, but no one is alone in this. We are all figuring this out together, and the WMU Foundation knows we could not do it without you.

Thank you again for all you’ve done for the WMU Foundation these past 25 years and all that you’ll continue to do in the future. We are so grateful and hope you choose joy during this uncertain time, as well.
