For over 27 years, the WMU Foundation has managed missions endowments for national WMU and other Baptist organizations to encourage good stewardship of the resources entrusted to them. If your church is passionate about missions, creating an endowment ensures your church is participating in the redemptive work of Christ as part of the Kingdom of God now and into the future.
What is an endowment?
Endowments can help your church impact missions and ministry for generations to come. Creating an endowment allows your church to invest for long-term growth while simultaneously making annual payments to your missions efforts. When your church creates an endowment with us, you give your congregation the opportunity to leave a missions legacy.
An endowment does not take the place of your church’s regular ministry budget offerings. Gifts to your missions endowment would be totally separate from gifts to support the work of the church through your annual ministry budget.
