The WMU Foundation is honored to manage endowments and funds that provide grantmaking support to organizations aligned with the mission of Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU, SBC). Eligible organizations are invited to apply for grants in the areas listed below. All grants are awarded through a structured grantmaking process designed to support organizations that demonstrate a commitment to faithful missions engagement and to advancing the gospel with lasting impact in the United States and around the world.

Christian Ministry Grants

Grant Application Timeline

The acceptance, reviewing, awarding, and distribution of grant funds will be conducted using the following timeline:

January 1: Application and Endorsement links go live on the website.
Last day of February: all applications and endorsements are due.
March and April: all applications and endorsements will be reviewed and considered by the WMU Foundation Board of Trustees and the WMU Executive Board.
May 15: Recipients of grants will be notified by email before or on this date. Please ensure that email addresses provided on the application are monitored.
May 31: Applicants who submitted all required materials by the deadline but were not chosen will be notified.
June 1: Due date for all grant recipients to submit their grant acceptance/distribution form.
June 30: All grant awards will be distributed to the appropriate organization by this date.

Grant funds will be distributed following submission of grant reimbursement form.
