Living on Mission: Kaye Miller’s Faithful Impact Through WMU

Kaye Miller’s faith journey has been shaped by a deep sense of mission, much like the inspiring lives of Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong. As the daughter of missionaries to Thailand and a lifelong supporter of the WMU Foundation, Kaye knows firsthand the power of giving to advance God’s Kingdom. Her story is one of unwavering commitment to living on mission, guided by faith and inspired by those who have gone before her.

“I love giving where I know the money will be used for His Kingdom, to bring the good news of Jesus to those who don’t know Him,” Kaye shares.

Growing up, Kaye witnessed the impact of living on mission through her parents’ dedication. “Living on mission means putting your ‘Yes’ on the table and each day praying, giving, and going to take the name of Jesus to a lost world,” she explains. This passion for sharing the gospel continues to guide her life and her support of the WMU Foundation.

Through the Foundation, Kaye sees her support making a tangible difference for future generations. “I know that teaching another generation to pray, give, and go will happen because of my giving to the WMU Foundation,” she says.

Kaye’s life has been marked not only by giving but by seeing how living on mission transforms lives. One powerful example came when a tornado struck Little Rock, Arkansas, and her church became a hub for community support. “As we served our city, I saw so many former Acteen members and Women on Mission groups pour into those who were hurting and had nothing left. I saw lives given to Jesus, as the Lord used us to minister in His name!” Kaye recalls.

Just as Kaye’s family poured into those they served, the lives of Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong continue to inspire countless believers today. Their legacy is a reminder that every act of giving fuels the mission of sharing Christ’s love around the world.

Kaye believes it is vital to continue giving through the WMU Foundation to ensure that future generations learn to live on mission. “It is critical that we continue to give through the WMU Foundation, to reach the next generation and teach them to Go and Pray and Give, so that the world will know the name of Jesus,” she says.

Inspired by Kaye’s story and the enduring mission spirit of Lottie and Annie, we are reminded that living on mission is not just about going—it’s about giving and praying as well.
