With Hopeful Hearts, We Say Thank You

Dear Friend,

While 2021 brought its challenges, the WMU Foundation team is thankful for all that has been accomplished because of your gifts. Because you found your missions passion, lives have been changed. We know this year has been difficult for many others and possibly even for you and your family, but we can say with hopeful hearts that we are incredibly grateful for each of you and the impact your gifts make each day.

If you haven’t found your missions passion yet, feel free to reach out to us for guidance. We have over 120 funds and endowments that you can choose from, and we’re happy to talk with you to find what you’re most passionate about and help you begin supporting that missions passion. Every gift to any fund or endowment you choose will make a difference.

We are continuously proud of all we are able to accomplish at the WMU Foundation because of your investment and gifts. Some highlights for 2021 include:

  • Raising almost $400,000 for the Vision Fund, including through our first ever Mission Matters Most campaign
  • Supporting our state WMU’s Touch Tomorrow Today endowments and helping all state endowments reach at least $25,000
  • Celebrating 20 years since the inception of the HEART Fund, which has given more than 140 grants totaling over $725,000 to aid in disaster relief for people all over the world

None of these highlights would be possible without you. I truly cannot say thank you enough for giving us an abundant number of reasons to celebrate during these continued unprecedented times. No matter how much you have been able to give, it makes a lasting impact for so many.

Now is an important time for you to consider an end of the year gift to your missions passion to help WMU and the WMU Foundation. Whether you choose to give to scholarships for missionary kids, your state WMU’s Touch Tomorrow Today endowment, the Joy Fund for WMU operations, or to the Vision Fund to support the overall ministry of WMU—we cannot provide more grants, awards, and scholarships without your generous gifts. We are so grateful and know that we couldn’t do what we do without you!

Thank you again for your support. May God richly bless you during this holiday season.

In Christ’s love and service,
The WMU Foundation team
