Following her death in December 2017, Candy Phillips’s family wanted to honor her service to WMU and help emerging leaders receive proper leadership training. The endowment provides scholarships and assistance to women identified in their states as potential leaders and supports leadership training efforts for Christian women. The Candy P. Phillips WMU Leadership Endowment ensures Candy’s legacy will impact the future of WMU as emerging leaders are identified and trained.
